BMA to push for expanded GP retainer and fellowship schemes in next year's contract

BMA negotiators could push for an improved retainer scheme and fully-funded fellowships for newly-qualified GPs in next year's contract to build a permanent solution to GP unemployment, England's GP committee chair has suggested.
