Government plans 1,000 more GP jobs this year with £82m ARRS expansion
More than 1,000 GP jobs will be created in 2024/25 through an £82m expansion of the additional roles reimbursement scheme (ARRS), the government has said, in an emergency intervention to tackle the 'absurd' GP unemployment crisis.
