Contract uplift and £82m ARRS plan 'first steps' to sustainable general practice, Streeting tells GPs

Backing a 6% pay uplift and plans to recruit 1,000 GPs by expanding the additional roles reimbursement scheme (ARRS) are 'simply the first steps' towards a more sustainable future for general practice, the health and social care secretary has said.
