Ensure best outcomes from inhaler use with a MIMS Learning webinar

Join a free evening webinar on Thursday 18 June to understand more about how to prescribe inhalers effectively and achieve the best outcomes.

A large variety of inhalers are available, and it’s important to know that your patient is comfortable with their inhaler and can use it properly.

Respiratory consultant nurse Jane Scullion will present a one-hour webinar on inhaler prescribing on the MIMS Learning clinical education platform at 7pm on Tuesday 18 June.

This webinar is free to attend for GPs, practice nurses and other healthcare professionals and gives you the chance to ask questions.

Ms Scullion will cover the challenges and pressures around inhaler prescribing for respiratory conditions including asthma and COPD.

After attending the webinar, healthcare professionals should be better able to:

  • Undertake appropriate inhaler prescribing and review
  • Address the pressures associated with inhaler prescribing, including the move toward sustainable prescribing practices
  • Review the health inequalities associated with inhaler prescribing in people of all ages

How to join the webinar

To join the webinar, simply visit this page on MIMS Learning and click 'Start now'. You will receive a reminder nearer the time, to join the webinar via the same link.

Participants in the webinar can ask questions of the presenter via a Q&A function on this Zoom webinar.
