Combination lipid therapy in acute coronary syndromes 'drastically' cuts risk of death

Patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS) offered a combination of statins and ezetimibe immediately have a 'drastically reduced' risk of death compared with those starting treatment on statins alone, researchers have said.
