GPs offered extra pay under accelerated flu and COVID-19 jab campaign as new variant spreads

Flu and COVID-19 vaccination will start from 11 September after the government announced plans to accelerate rollout amid concern over a new coronavirus variant - with practices offered an extra £5 or £10 supplement per jab.
