Unfunded pay rise will accelerate closures as practices face up to six-figure losses

Practice closures will accelerate this year because the unfunded 6% rise in salaried GP pay backed by the government - on top of other financial pressures - will leave average-sized practices facing up to six-figure losses in 2023/24.
