GPs account for small fraction of NHS claims in first year of state-backed indemnity

Just 3.4% of NHS clinical negligence claims related to general practice in 2019/20 despite nine in 10 clinical contacts taking place in primary care, a report on the first year of state indemnity for GPs shows.
